There are other places for tourists to visit in the area, including the historic Haeinsa Buddhist temple, which is home to the Tripitka Koreana, a woodlike edition of Buddhist scriptures, which is one of the world’s oldest existing complete sets of Buddhism’s holy text.

There are other Buddhist temples to discover at Pagyesa and Donghwasa. An interesting site you may consider checking out is in Dalseong Park, which contains a 1,500-year-old earth fortress. Dalseong is one of many parks to visit all around Buk-gu Daegu, like Apsan Park, Palgongsan and Duryu Park. Each contains trails and areas in which to explore the mountains and wilderness around the Daegu area.
