Kirchseeon:Kirchseeon is a market town in the Upper Bavarian district of Ebersberg along the Bundesstrasse 304 .It is located about 15 kilometers east of Munich. The oldest constituent community of this town is Buch which is mentioned in documents dated well back 809. Another place called Sevun was mentioned in the year 842. In the fourteenth century there appeared the name Chirichsewe. The Ebersberg Monastery maintained a small branch monastery in Kirchseeon until Secularisation. In 1889 the surrounding woodlands fell victim to a natural disaster. The community then quickly grew in the form of a nun moth infestation. Between 1889 and 1890 the Royal Bavarian Railway built a sleeper works in the denuded woods of Kirchseeon.
The new Kirchseeon community was formed in 1939 out of the Eglharting community that existed since 1818.The villages of Buch and Kirchseeon, and the hamlets of Fortseeon, Osterseeon, Neukirch, Ilching and Riedering were its constituents. The church was also promoted to a parish curacy. The community became a market town in 1950. A new church “Erloserkirche“ was consecrated in 1973. A new town hall was built in 1974. Now there are a number of small and medium-sized shops as well as supermarkets.The Kirchseeon railway station is the combined centre of Eglharting, Kircheeson and Kirchseeon-Dorf.
