Car Rental Kaunas Airport - Transportation to and From Kaunas Airport
Kaunas International Airport has many excellent motorway connections. From the Kaunas River Port, it is 15kms via the Baltica highway, eight kilometres from the A1 motorway and 15kms from the A6 motorway.
From Klaipeda and Vilnius, take the A1 and turn onto A6, then follow the signposts to the airport. From Marijampole, take the A5, A1 and then the A6. The airport is located on the right hand side.
There are 150 short-term parking spaces and 80 long-term parking spaces. Passengers can leave their vehicles either at the airports parking area or in the closed hangar. The parking fee depends on the length of the parking period and the type of vehicle.
Shuttle bus number 120 provides services between the airport and the city centre, while the city bus line 29 serves the airport and goes on to Savanoriu avenue, the main bus station, Panemune and Viciunai.
