Taxi service telephones are located beside baggage claim areas in each terminal as waiting taxis located outside terminal exits are sometimes in short supply. Airport legislation states that all taxi services are required to carry passengers to any requested location, regardless of how long or far the trip is.

Limos are also available for private hire to and from Kansas City Airport from a choice of local companies. They are also located in front of terminal buildings.

To drive to the airport from Kansas City or the east and south, drive northeast along I-29, and turn into Cookingham Drive to reach the airport. From the west and north, follow I-435, and turn on to I-29. Then follow Cookingham Drive into the airport.

Kansas City Airport offers short term, long term and disabled parking facilities. The first half hour of all airport parking is free. The complimentary shuttle buses are a nice touch, always available to transport air passengers between terminals and parking lots. Disabled parking areas are included in all airport car parks.
