Car Hire Kansas Airport - Mini guide to Kansas Airport
Kansas City International Airport is one of the largest airports in the United States. It was designed for passenger convenience and today it is busy but manages to feel spacious. This is a direct result of its efficient layout.
The airport has three domestic terminals in total. Plans are currently in progress to improve the look of these terminals. There is also a complimentary inter-terminal shuttle service that ensures good passenger mobility around the airport.
Kansas City Airports three terminals (A,B and C) serve American airline companies almost exclusively, and the vast majority of flight destinations from Kansas City Airport are located within the US. On-location post office facilities are available at 156 Paris Street.
Exchange Bureaux and various other banking operations are found at the business centre in terminal A, gate 10. ATMs are to be found at gates 7 and 14 in Terminal A, gates 30 and 37 in terminal B and gates 53 and 62 in terminal C.
Kansas City Airport hosts a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. Several fast food chains are available including KFC and Burger King. Banks, ATM machines and currency exchange facilities are also available throughout the airport terminal buildings.
Self-service business facilities are situated at gate 14 terminal A, gate 37 terminal B and gate 62 terminal C. Laptop computer access is not available, nor is faxing.
Disabled travellers will find specially designated areas in the terminal carparks as well as the satellite carpark. From there they can use the shuttle bus to reach the terminal. TDD telephones are located in both terminals and toilets specially designed for the disabled are available.
