Kansai International Airport is an offshore airport, located 50km south of downtown Osaka. The airport serves a wide range of both domestic and international destinations, connecting with 72 cities in 32 countries and regions. North America, Australia, Asia and Europe are well connected to Kansai Airport.

There is only one terminal in the airport, but it is housed in a huge building with an extensive array of services.

A bank is located on the second floor of the terminal, whilst ATMs and bureau de change facilities are present on most floors. A post office is also available at the airport.

A huge variety of bars, cafés and restaurants are available. In fact there are over 100 types of shops in the airport, providing everything from Japanese handicrafts to daily necessities. Newsagents, as well as a copious selection of shops offering souvenirs, gifts, medicines and duty-free are on hand. Medical facilities are provided by the airport clinic. You will find a dental clinic on the third floor of the Aeroplaza, situated a few minutes from the terminal building.

35 restaurants are available, with 21 Japanese food restaurants including those specialising in sushi and Japanese noodles. 26 coffee shops and bars are also available, with many bars offering small food items.

A conference room and business centre are located on the fourth floor. Facilities include telephone, fax and Internet access, as well as PC rental, secretarial and catering services.

Lifts between floors and disabled toilets facilitate those with special needs. However, passengers are advised to inform their respective airlines of any special requirements.
