Car Hire Jersey Airport - Mini guide to Jersey Airport
The Airport is situated about 5 miles from town in St Peter, and provides numerous direct flights to England and Wales, Scotland and Ireland and Europe. The airport features one of the most dramatic take-offs in the UK, with the end of the runway a few hundred metres away from the cliffs which overlook St Ouen's Beach.
The airport has just one terminal, with the modernised design placing an emphasis on passenger comfort and convenience.
No banks are available at the airport, however there are cashpoints in the departures hall and a bureau de change in the Arrivals hall (the Arrivals and Departures halls are adjacent).
You will find refreshment available at the bar, restaurant, cafe and lounges, which open for most flight arrivals and departures.
Shopping is fairly basic, with a bookstall, florist, convenience store and perfumery available.
As of yet there is no business centre at the airport, though some of the airline lounges may be able to help with special needs.
Disabled passengers will find adequate facilities, with ramps, specially-designed toilets and wide-berth doorways all provided. Individual assistance is also provided by the airlines.
Further information is available at the airport's information desk, situated on the ground floor of the airport.
