Car Rentals israel - Weather in israel
Israel has a temperate Mediterranean climate and is pleasant to visit most times of the year. Summer (May September) can get very extremely hot, especially in southern and eastern desert areas, with temperatures soaring into the high 30s or even 40s in Eilat. Summers are hotter below sea level, however in the desert areas temperatures can still get cold at night. Winters (November March) in the north are cold and severe with widespread rain, particularly in Jerusalem. Snow is rare but the north does receive occasional falls. Spring and Autumn are both pleasant seasons to visit, however in spring strong winds can cause dramatic increases in temperature. The Red Sea resorts are perfect for beach holidays most times of the year.
