The Hof airport or the Hof-Plauen airport is situated in Hof, Germany. The main destination for the travelers arriving and departing this airport is Frankfurt, Switzerland. The Airport is situated 5 miles southwest of Hof city. The airport acts as a Hub in connecting the flights to the Frankfurt airport five days a week from Monday to Friday thrice a day. However in June 2007 the plan that was submitted for the expansion of the airport was rejected. The passengers can however travel to the airport with the current charter flights from Frankfurt.
