Perhaps the most beautiful landscapes are found on Kuaui Island, with its nature reserves, carefully restored historical sites, and some of the most secluded, pristine beaches in the Hawaiian islands. Largely unspoilt by tourism, dramatically mountainous and inaccessible in parts, it is excellent for hiking, or escaping into the wilds.
Lanai is the least developed island, featuring the unusual lunar landscape of the Garden of The Gods.
