Transportation to and From Hamburg Airport
There is an underground train connection shuttle service known as The Line 110 Airport Express. This also stops in front of Terminals 1 and 4, every ten minutes to the Ohlsdorf underground station.
The HAM Airport Express bus service operates services in front of Terminals 1 and 4 every 15 minutes to Hamburg city centre. The journey normally takes half an hour.
Taxis and limousine services wait for passengers outside Terminals 1 and 4 around the clock. All taxi prices are metered. Travel time to central Hamburg is around 30 minutes.
By car, Hamburg International Airport can be found North of central Hamburg near to the A7 motorway. It is clearly sign-posted from all relevant junctions on the motorway.
Long-stay, short-stay and valet parking can be found close to the airport site. Parking rates are calculated with a parking points system, depending on the car park location and duration of stay. Complimentary shuttle buses run to all terminal buildings from the more distant of the airport’s seven car parks. These services run approximately every 10 minutes.
