Graz Airport is located about 10kms from the city of Graz, in Austria. The airport is small but very modern, equipped with a full range of facilities for passengers. There is only one terminal, which serves both domestic and international flights to major nearby cities including Vienna, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich, Düsseldorf and Zurich.
There are several shopping areas in the airport if you want to kill time while waiting for your flight, with a variety of gifts and souvenirs on offer. The Airport Shop has many special offers for departing passengers in the Departures Hall. You can also shop for last-minute items at the Travel Value and Duty-Free shop, located close to the security check-point.
Boasting a couple of cafés, the airport also has its own restaurant called the Airest Graz Airport Restaurant where you can find both food and refreshments. There are newsagents, tobacconists and ATMs scattered around the airport.
The Business Centre, situated on the first floor, offers impressive facilities. There are four seminar rooms for different purposes. The fourth seminar room, with stunning views from the terrace that overlooks the runways, is the biggest and is equipped with multimedia equipment, a mobile control panel, DVD and video players as well as satellite TV. All technical equipment can be used without charge.
The airport gallery, Galerie am Flughafen, on the first floor of the new Departures Hall, displays interesting artwork exhibitions which are changed every two months. The bustling Departures Hall can also be seen from here.
Disabled-friendly, Graz Airport provides large doors for people in wheelchairs as well as telephones on level one of the terminal.
