There are several museums of which the particular highlights are the Museo de La Ciencia y la Tecnologia (Science and Technology Museum) and the Casa de Colón (Christopher Columbus House), as well as the Centro Atlântico de Arte Moderno (Atlantic Centre of Modern Art).

By car you can visit the many lovely beaches, Dunes of Maspalomas, Caldera Bandama, Pico de las Nieves and the delightful rural hinterland.
