Granada Airport, situated in the Vega del Genil region 17kms outside the city, handles scheduled flights to Barcelona and Madrid as well as international scheduled and charter flights to key European cities and provides convenient access to Granada province, Jaen and the south-east of the Cordoba province.
A single-level terminal building caters for all domestic and international flights. There are three ATM machines spread around the terminal building. There is also a post office located near the meeting hall.
The airport has a café and restaurant, and shopping is limited to two outlets specializing in traditional local foodstuffs, liquors, souvenirs and gifts, press and magazines, sunglasses, and sales of coupons for the Spanish National Organisation for the Blind (ONCE). Two tour operators have outlets in the airport to aid with any further travel plans.
Limited conference facilities are available at the airports VIP Lounge. Conference facilities must be booked in advance. Contact the airport manager for further information on business facilities (fax: +34(0) 958 245 207). There is only the one VIP lounge, equipped with standard telecommunication facilities.
Those who require special assistance or wheelchairs should notify their airlines when booking their flight. Specially fitted toilets and ramps are located across the airport. Designated parking areas are available in the car park opposite the terminal. An airport information counter is provided in the terminal building, and there is also a tourist information booth.
