Gothenburg Airport has 97 daily departures to 30 destinations all over Europe, including six domestic departures to western Sweden. The airport is located 25kms east of Gothenburg and flies approximately four million passengers per annum.
There is one passenger terminal with separate domestic and international halls (open 24 hours a day), and three cargo terminals. Essential facilities include two ATMs, one in the International hall and the other in the Domestic hall, and a bank. There are bureaux de change at the bank and before and after security. Left luggage lockers, safety deposit boxes and a lost property service are all available. There is also a church on site.
There are restaurants and cafés in the Domestic and International halls, and a café and bars in the transit hall. There is a wide variety of shops, including duty free in International Arrivals and Departures (non-EU). There are also indoor and outdoor childrens play areas, baby changing and nursing facilities, a car repair service and a VAT refund service.
Bus number 615 runs from the airport to Landvetter via Härryda Church, while bus number 616 goes to Rävlanda via Hällingsjö and Landvetter. The E6 GothenburgCopenhagen highway runs north-south to the east of the airport via route 159. Taxis often have a fixed rate to Gothenburg city and other destinations from the airport. Limousines are also available from Scandinavian Limousine.
There are indoor and outdoor car parks with long- and short-term parking available. Visitors car parks are situated at both ends of the terminal. Disabled travellers get a reduced rate on display of their permit at the payment desk. All car parks are equipped with a security surveillance system and are regularly patrolled.
