Car Rental & Transportation to and From Glenegedale Airport

A limited bus service runs across the island, with buses meeting scheduled flights. However, the bus will not wait for flights that are delayed by more than 20 minutes. The quickest and most convenient way to rejoin other areas of the island, is to take a taxi from outside the airport terminal. By car, you can reach the town of Port Ellen by driving down the A846, some 4.5 miles south. Bowmore village is situated 5.5 miles along the A846.

At the airport, you will find a number of parking spaces, with long and short term parking both available.
