Car Hire in Gibraltar - Getting to Gibraltar

Gibraltar airport is easily accessed and has flights to most major European destinations. The most regular flights are to London and Luton airports. Local travel agents can provide price and route information for other international connections.

There are no regular buses to Gibraltar, but the bus station at La Línea in Spain is only a five minute walk from the border. From here, connections to all regional centres on the Iberian Peninsula are available and tickets for travel throughout Europe can be purchased.

If you're driving yourself, lines at the border may make it less time-consuming to park in La Línea and walk across. The land border is open 24 hours a day.

There are normally three ferries a week each way between Gibraltar and Tangier in Morocco. The journey is an enjoyable affair, given the breathtaking scenery and although it takes two hours the time flies by relatively quickly. The ferries accommodate cars.
