Car Rental & Transportation to and From Frankfurt Airport
The airport has good regional and long distance rail connection facilities, with two train stations. These are a regional and commuter train service from the regional train station, tracks 1 to 3, and a long-distance rail service from the long-distance train station, also called the air-rail terminal, on tracks 4 to 7.
The airport bus station is located across the arrivals level curbside road in front of Terminal 1. It offers regular bus services into Frankfurt. Times and destinations are displayed on screens throughout the station. Terminal 2 has a curbside bus area from where you can catch buses into the city.
The quickest but most expensive way to get into the city is by taxi. There are taxi -ranks beside the bus terminals in both Terminals 1 and 2.
Frankfurt Airport is located east of Frankfurt city centre on main road B43. Also close by are highways A3 running east to west and A5 running north to south which both pass main airport entrances.
Terminals 1 and 2 also have excellent disabled, underground and long term parking facilities. The main car park is situated on the west side of the airport and north of terminal 2.
