Bus connection depots are located at the east end of Terminal 2, between Terminals 3 and 4, and at the east end of Terminal 4. Tri Rail (for Miami) feeder buses and Broward County Mass Transit operate daily schedules from the airport, with services running several times per hour to a good selection of local destinations.

Taxis services are available on the lower levels of each terminal at curbside. Bookings are made at the Transportation Podium. Taxi-van style sedans are also situated here and provide travellers with door-to-door service.

The quickest and easiest airport connection by road is the North Federal Highway, which passes close by the airport. From here you can travel north towards Boca Raton or south towards Miami.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport has a large multi-storey parking facility, offering swift and direct access to all terminal buildings. Hourly parking, daily parking, economy parking, and valet parking are all available as well as disabled parking facilities.
