Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is placed right in the centre of Broward County, making travelling to and from the airport convenient from Miami to Boca Raton. The airport enjoys more than 40,000 passengers passing daily through its five spacious and modern terminals.
The terminal buildings (Terminals 1, 2, 3, 4 and the Commuter Terminal) collectively serve a large selection of domestic destinations as well as a range of international flight services. Concourses C, D, E/F and H can be found in terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
There are ATMs located in each building as well as several currency exchange facilities. The terminal and concourse lounge areas are comfortable, giving the airport a relaxed air.
Many gift shops and newsstands are available, with shops offering speciality and florida-themed items. Replenish yourself at one of the 20 different Food and bverage locations dispersed throughout the terminals.
Disabled amenities are excellent, with carparks equipped with ADA facilities for those with upper-body mobility restrictions, permitting car-park access without the necessity of taking a ticket.
Duty free shopping is available on international departures from terminal 4. The shops here have an extensive supply of perfumes, fine art and photographic supplies.
