Mini guide to Fiji Airport
Fiji Nadi airport is situated on the west coast of Viti Levu, 10 km from Nadi Town. Nadi International Airport is the gateway to Fiji and the biggest airport facility in the region. Daily services are provided by a a range of airlines including Air Pacific, QANTAS, Air New Zealand, Royal Tongan Airlines, Polynesian, Air Caledonie, Air Vanuatu, Solomon Airlines, Air Nauru, Sunflower Airlines and Air Fiji. Due to its locations, this airport is a major Pacific-region hub between Australian/new Zealand and North America.
Connections are available between the islands, with many domestic airports situated throughout the Fiji Islands, thus making the whole of Fiji easily accessible to visitors. Direct flights from international locations include Los Angeles, Hawaii, Auckland, Sydney, Seoul and Tokyo.
As there is only one terminal, all flights are centralised in the one area, as are all shopping and catering facilities.
You will find a 24-hr ATM cash machine available in the terminal as well as the ANZ bank, which opens 24/7 and is located on the arrivals concourse.
A café and restaurant are also present in the terminal and serve fresh Fijian coffee and sandwiches. To freshen up, you may take advantage of the showers available in the terminal. Shopping facilities are found pre security, with newsagents and convenience stores available, however you will find two large duty free shops post security. To deposit your belongings, you will also find a luggage storage facility here.
Any further queries may be referred to the Fiji Visitor Bureau Kiosk, located in the main terminal building. There are also many tour operators in the airport, providing information on local and regional attractions.
