The Eugene Airport, also known as the Mahlon Sweet Field, is approximately 15 minutes from downtown Eugene. Though small in comparison to the major airports in the Pacific states, Eugene does offer daily services to Portland, Seattle, San Francisco and Phoenix. Portland International Airport (PDX) is a quiet hub of services reaching all over the US and many international destinations.

Interstate 5 passes from Washington through Portland, Eugene and Ashland, then on to California. State highway 126 heading east crosses the Cascade Range towards Bend. Heading west, state highway 126 leads 96kms to the Pacific coast. Additional four- and two-lane highways and roads connect small, friendly towns and provide numerous opportunities for petrol, food and lodging. The state prides itself on its scenic drives and frequent, well-maintained rest areas.

Amtrak rail service runs north and south, to and from Eugene. Connections in Portland and San Francisco allow passage to the eastern states.

Greyhound buses also offer daily service between Eugene and most large towns, with connections to destinations all over the US.
