Among these is the Parador El Saler Hotel which lies in the northern part of La Dehesa, a narrow strait lined with pine forests and hills which separates the region of La Albufera from the Mediterranean Sea. The surrounding lagoon-like lake is also a haven for fishermen who can find plenty of species of fish, including eel.
