Eindhoven International Airport is a growing international airport offering daily services to Europes principal airports, including Amsterdam, London, Paris and Hamburg, as well as providing onward services to destinations all over the globe. The airport is located seven kilometres west of the city and handles approximately 400,000 passengers a year.
There is one passenger terminal with 15 check-in desks, 6 gates, and a cargo terminal. Eindhoven Airport is well equipped with disabled facilities, including lowered telephones, specially adapted toilets and wheelchair access. There is a bureau de change desk in the main hall.
Refreshments and snacks are available throughout the building at a number of restaurants, cafés and bars. There is also a duty-free shop, a newsagent/tobacconist and a gift shop. The Shop & Fly store, located in the Departures hall, offers a wide selection of quality goods, from perfumes to tobacco, souvenirs, wines, spirits and luxury goods. Wireless broadband internet is available at the Swiss Shop.
Bus number 403 goes to and from Eindhoven Central Station and the airport four times per hour. The E25/A2 north-south highway passes right by the airport. Enter at junction 29 and take the Tilburseweg road for the city centre at the next exit, south. The taxi rank is situated in front of the terminal.
Car parks are situated directly in front of the terminal and there are 1,500 spaces including short-term, long-term and spaces for the disabled. The Information desk is located in the main hall and is open for the duration of the airports operating hours (tel: +31 (0) 40 29 19 818).
