Car Rental & Transportation to and From Dusseldorf Airport

Düsseldorf International Airport is located to the north of the city and is conveniently situated on a major autobahn and rail line.

Around 300 trains a day stop at the Düsseldorf Airport railway station, which is located directly on a major axis of the European railway network. A monorail connects the railway station with the terminal building. The S7 S-Bahn underground train connects the airport and Solingen-Ohligs, and stops on the lower level of the terminal building.

The bus station is located in front of central Arrivals. Line 760 runs regularly to central Ratingen; line 072 goes to the main train station in Krefeld; line 727 goes to Düsseldorf main railway station; and the Airport Aixpress runs to Aachen bus station. Special services are added during trade fairs.

The A44 autobahn runs east–west past the airport with a dedicated exit, signed Flughafen. The A44 connects to the A52 north and the A3 north–south.

Taxis are available at all hours and leave from in front of central Arrivals.

There are numerous car parks available with direct access to the terminals, but reservations for long-term parking are limited to the security-monitored spaces located in car park 2.
