The highlight of a visit to Dieppe is to explore the ancient port area and discover the charming districts of Bout du Quai and Le Pollet. Bout du Quai (‘end of the quay’) is the oldest part of the town, while Le Pollet is on a hillside overlooking the port and was the home to families of fishermen over the centuries. On the top of the hill stands the Church of Notre Dame de Bon Secours. Routes inland from Dieppe allow you to experience some of the most beautiful countryside in the Normandy region, including the picturesque river valleys of the Bresle, the Bethune, the Varenne, the Scie and the Saane.
