Car Rentals Denmark - Weather in Denmark
Denmark's weather is predominantly mild and cold, due to its northern latitude, however summers (June - August) can be surprisingly pleasant and warm. The temperatures reach up to the mid 20's and days stretch for18 hours. This is the main tourist season, with open-air concerts and street festivals. In winter (November - March) temperatures drop to below freezing and long, cold, grey days prevail. It is also windy and flooding can occur in some parts of Jutland at this time of year. The tourist season comes to a halt at these times and much of Denmark goes into hibernation. Spring (April - May) is a particularly good time to visit. When the weather is warming up, the landscape is green and lush, and the tourist hoards have not yet arrived. Autumn (September - October) is relatively warm, yet the landscape tends to be rather barren at this time.
