Getting to Colorado Springs
Colorado Springs Airport is a small but busy domestic airport located in the southeastern part of the country and serving flights from all over the United States. International visitors destined for Colorado Springs usually enter the country at Denver. From here, they have the option of boarding a connecting flight or catching one of the airport shuttles that run regularly between Denver and Colorado Springs.
The high standard of the American roads and the magical landscape of the Rocky Mountains make driving to Colorado Springs a pleasure. Having your own vehicle allows you to enjoy the scenery at leisure, and to stop at any of the interesting natural attractions or charming towns along the way.
I-25 spans the state of Colorado, from New Mexico to Wyoming. It is the major route leading into Colorado Springs from the south and continues on to Denver, just 112kms north. The main east-west highway that crosses Colorado Springs is US 24.
Greyhound buses connect the city with all other major cities in the state as well as destinations farther afield. They are reliable and affordable, but not the most comfortable means of travelling, particularly on a long journey.
