The CTA Orange Line rail service connects Midway Airport to downtown Chicago. Tickets can be purchased at the Midway Orange Line station, located near the airport on Cicero Avenue. There is a large map displayed in the train station showing all CTA lines and stops.
Various other bus and shuttle services operate from the airport at all hours of day, normally leaving Midway every 15 minutes. Departure times and other service information are readily available in front of terminal buildings.
Taxi services run 24 hours a day from door M5. Chicago Midway Airport taxi-vans are also available here. Parking shuttles also run round the clock from in front of the main terminal building at the Bus/Shuttle Center.
To reach Midway from downtown Chicago follow the I-55 south.
Chicago Midway Airport provides both hourly and daily parking facilities. These are located between 55th and 59th Streets across the pedestrian bridge from the Terminal Building. Economy parking is also available nearby, also providing free shuttles that run from the economy lots to the Terminal Building all day every day.
