Mini guide to Chicago Midway Airport
Chicago Midway Airport is one of the fastest growing airports on the American continent. It is situated just 10 miles from downtown Chicago. Operating as an alternative to the busy OHare Airport, this well-organised airport does not serve international airline companies, concentrating mostly on domestic flight services.
Chicago Midway Airport has three concourses (A, B and C), each serving major airlines such as American, Continental, and Southwest. Concourse B is the largest of the three and provides the majority of the airports available flight services.
In Concourse A are Cafe Midway, Chicago Bar, the Food and Beverage Kiosk and Midwest Market Express. Concourse B offers travellers the Food and Beverage Kiosk. Refreshment in Concourse C is provided by the Chicago Bar, Fenton Hill, Flying Food Fare, the Food and Beverage Kiosk, North Terminal Cafe and the Snack Kiosk. Also located in Concourse C, World Books is a good source for gifts and books. World News is situated in both Concourse B and Concourse C and the Newstand Kiosk is located in Concourse B.
Free facilities and comfortable lounge areas in each of the airports departure halls. ATMs are available in all three concourses.
