Weather in Canada
Canada has four distinct seasons, although their arrival times vary across the country. They are noted to have long, cold winters with average temperatures down to -18 degree C in December and January perfect for skiers! July and August can be quite warm with temperatures in the high 20's among the southern regions, camping is popular during these months, but its peak tourist season though and prices tend to be higher. Spring and Autumn are pleasant and provide spectacular scenery, its a little chilly but more relaxed. It gets colder the further north you go, so the southern areas bordering the USA tend to be more populated. The western and eastern coasts are both very wet, though much of the rain falls during winter. In Saskatchewan, Manitoba and eastern Alberta the prairies are fairly dry all year.
