Car Rental Bournemouth Airport - Transportation to and From Bournemouth Airport

There is no direct rail link to the airport, but the nearest station Christchurch (about 4 miles from the station) and Bournemouth ( 6 miles), are both easily accessible by taxi or the A1 bus.

A bus service is available, with service A1 operating to and from Bournemouth Square and Bournemouth Interchange (the bus and rail station in the town centre) to Bournemouth airport (30 minute journey). The bus runs approximately every 2 hours daily.

If you are arriving by car, you will find the airport situated about 10 minutes drive from Bournemouth just outside Hurn. From the centre take the A338 towards Ringwood, and drive down the B3073 turning towards Hurn. From London or the South East take the M3, followed by M27, and then the A31 to Ringwood. Just after the Ringwood roundabout take the A338 towards Bournemouth, then bear off at the B3073 exit and follow signs to the airport.

The car parks are situated adjacent to the terminal building, with charges on a pay and display basis. You can pick up tickets in the arrivals section of the airport terminal. picking-up and dropping-off is possible at the terminal entrance.
