Bolton is one of the largest communities in the town of Caledon which is located just north of Toronto in Ontario. Bolton was originally called Bolton Mill after the founder's building and since its establishment in 1794, it has boomed in population, industry and therefore economy, increasing dramatically in the late 1970's and early 1980's with large industry formations in the area. The town of Caledon is also home to Brampton, Cedar Mills, Stonehart and Nobleton. Of the many attractions and activities in the area the Strawberry Festival on Canada Day and is famed for its many hiking trails, and of course the ASK Arts Festival King.
