Blackpool Airport is a small but growing regional airport serving the Central Lancashire and Cumbria area in the UK. It is used by a number of small operators and offers flights to Dublin, Belfast, The Isle of Man and Jersey, as well as a number of other European holiday destinations. It has excellent road links, and offers a number of facilities to its growing number of passengers.
There is only one terminal at the airport, with six check-in-desks situated in the spacious departure concourse, providing fast and efficient check-in times. Arrivals can be met in the main concourse, which provides shopping and dining amenities.
The bureau de change facility, next to the information desk, is available for all international flights, while further provisions include public telephones available in all areas of the terminal and a post box situated just outside.
Newspapers, magazines, books and gifts are available from shops in the main concourse and the Duty-free shop in the departures lounge, with pharmaceutical products also available.
A comfortable bar and buffet is situated in the main concourse area, and provides a wide variety of meals, drinks and snacks. A smaller bar area is also located in the International Departure Lounge.
