Beziers

    Car Hire

BeziersHost of the famous Feria de Béziers festival, the town of Beziers sits atop a hill above the Orb River in southeastern France. It is just over six miles from the Mediterranean Sea and just over 33 miles from the Parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc, offering a wide variety of opportunities for daytrips. The town itself also has many things to offer, such as the 13th century Saint Nazaire Cathedral, its Old Town and the Plateau des Poètes. It is also a very popular destination for taking excursions to destinations throughout the region.

    Who to Book With
Car hire in Beziers is available in the town centre, at the railway station and at the airport, with well-known suppliers such as Hertz, Avis and Europcar having a presence here. Booking a car rental in advance online is highly recommended, as this will ensure that the vehicle of your choice is available.

    Best time to go
Beziers is a year-round destination, although it tends to be most popular in the summer, especially in August during the five-day Feria de Béziers festival. This is when prices are at their highest and when accommodation fills up quickly. Those wishing to avoid the crowds will also find June and September quite pleasant.

However, a car is needed to get out of the town and explore its surroundings. There are more than 3,400 spaces to park your car in Beziers, both on-street and in secure car parks. On-street parking is colour coded, with yellow being short-term, orange allowing for up to 3.5 hours and green allowing you to park all day.
