Car Rentals Belgium - Weather in Belgium
Sharing a similar climate to the Netherlands, Belgium is often grey and dull, but fabulous during sunny summer days. Winters are typically cold and icy, moderated by the coast but exposed to the North Sea elements, with temperatures dropping almost to zero at times. Light snow falls occasionally. Rain falls throughout the year, though summer tends to be drier.
The best times to visit are April and September which, although a little chilly, have the most reliable sunshine. Tourists are also fewer at this time. Typically summer temperatures reach the mid 20s and sometimes touch 30 C.
You're unlikely to encounter extremes in weather during an average Belgian year, but bring your umbrella.
