Car Rental & Transportation to and From Beijing Airport

The Airport-City Shuttle Bus leaves every 30 minutes from outside Arrivals and follows one of three routes into the city: Xidan, Gongzhufen and Zhongguancun. The route to Xidan in central Beijing, a short walk from the Forbidden City, is the most popular route. Other routes include Gongzhufen in western Beijing and Zhongguancun in the city's northwest district. The shuttle also serves major hotels.

Metered taxis are provided in front of the terminal and reach the city in 40-60 minutes. The cost to midtown Beijing is in the range RMB70 depending on the type of taxi, plus RMB15 for the highway toll. It isn't necessary to tip taxidrivers in Beijing unless they render extra assistance with bags, etc.

The airport is situated 26km from the city. Parking is provided by a multi-storey car park, with ample capacity.
