Grantley Adams receives more than 2 million passengers per year, with connections to Europe provided by Virgin Atlantic and other airlines. There are scheduled and charter flights from Europe as well as the US, while BWIA provides regional services. The airport lies 16kms southeast of Bridgetown city centre, and is served by public transport and taxi.
One terminal is located in the airport, and deals with passengers from many regional and international airlines.
For your financial needs, you will find a number of banks, a post office and bureaux de change in the airport.
A good selection of bars and restaurants are also available in the airport, serving both local and international cuisine. Further options include a number of fast-food outlets, and stands offering snacks and drinks.
Several shops, including a pharmacy, souvenir shop, clothes shop, ice-cream parlour, supermarket and delicatessen are present in the terminal. Further shopping (post security), include several duty-free shops, which may be found in the Departures lounge, as well as an in-bound duty-free shop which is on hand in the Arrivals lounge.
A business centre is provided by the Club Caribbean Lounge, with fax, internet facilities and meeting rooms available. British Airways and BWIA first and business class lounges also provide fax and internet facilities.
Disabled passengers have easy access to arrivals and departure halls , as both are situated on the ground floor. A lift is provided to access the restaurant on the mezzanine floor and disabled toilets are provided throughout the airport.
