Mini guide to Bali Airport
Bali Airport is one of Indonesia’s chief tourist hubs, with 12 international airlines providing scheduled and chartered services. The airport is situated in southern Bali, 15kms from Denpasar, the capital city. Connections to other locations in Indonesia are provided by the national carrier, Garuda Indonesia.
There are two terminals, domestic and international. The terminals are within walking distance of one another.
Several banks are available and bureaux de change are also present at the airport, but do not offer a good exchange rate, so passengers are advised to change as little as possible. The post office opens from 08:00 - 20:00 Monday-Sunday and is positioned by the domestic Departures area.
Restaurants open from 06:00 until last flight in both international and domestic Departures areas. You will also find variety of shops, including duty-free shopping facilities, in the airport. A left luggage counter may be found next to the International Departures Terminal entrance.
Lifts, wheelchairs and assistance are provided for the disabled.
