Remember that as with any other World Heritage location like Ayers Rock, you are expected to respect and help maintain this site: not respecting or following regulations are things the Anangu are not willing to overlook . and neither they should. Aside from the fact that you can take as much time as you want and not worry about paying taxi fares, is the fact that any souvenirs bought there can easily be transported back, and trust me, you will want to buy more than a few!
