Car Hire Ayers Rock - Mini guide to Ayers Rock
AYERS ROCK
You can not indeed visit Australia and say that you went all around the place until you visit National Park Ulura-Kata Tjuta, location of Ayers Rock, home of the Anangu tribes. A beautiful place that should be visited . if possible, several times during the stay. Or, maybe spending a whole day just sightseeing the whereabouts and marvelling on the rich and wonderful wildlife of this, an Australian World Heritage Natural Park, whether you decide to go the most comfortable way: with a car hire or use the .student-go. and try the bus.
You can now climb Ayers Rock, however it.s a difficult climb that is restricted to healthy and trained people; do not attempt to do it otherwise. Uluru Park has a cultural centre run by the Anangu, traditional landowners, however, taking any sort of graphic recording (videotapes or photographs) is prohibited, I would suggest that you leave them locked up in the car hire you used to arrive at the place.
If you, like me, are more of a nature.s observer, I would recommend the walks, whether they are guided or not, and regardless of the time of day you choose to make them at. There are a whole lot of different things to see and enjoy: The Uluru Base Walk takes about 4 hours; the Liru Walk takes about 1.5 hours, The Mala Walk comes in two different choices: Self guided and lasts 1.5 hours and the Ranger Guided that is available only from October to April at 8 am and from May to September at 10 am; the Kuniya Walk that is 45 minutes long; the Walpa Gorge of 1 hour, the Valley of the Winds Walk of 3 hours. Personally, since I.ve already obtained a car hire, I suggest to take the opportunity to do all the walks, and entirely enjoy the National Park
Remember that as with any other World Heritage location like Ayers Rock, you are expected to respect and help maintain this site: not respecting or following regulations are things the Anangu are not willing to overlook . and neither they should. The last advantage of taking a car hire? Aside from the fact that you can take as much time as you want and not worry about paying taxi fares, is the fact that any souvenirs bought there can easily be transported back, and trust me, you will want to buy more than a few!
