Car Rental Auckland Airport - Transportation to and From Auckland Airport

Allow 45 minutes for the trip from downtown Auckland. Follow the southern motorway as far as the Gilles Avenue exit and then follow the airport signs.

Shuttle buses, which may be shared, travel to the airport. Another shuttle service, provided by Airbus, runs between the airport and downtown. Regular buses depart every 20 minutes by day and every 30 minutes during the evening, until 2200. An airport-to-Pakuranga service is also available. The website www.rideline.co.nz provides information on travelling throughout the Auckland region by bus, train and ferry.

Taxis are available outside the terminals, and reach downtown Auckland in under 45 minutes. The Airport to City taxi fare averages $40NZ.Car parks are positioned in front of all three terminals, with a long-term car park provided 150m from the international terminal.
