Archerfield is a suburb in Brisbane, the capital of the Australian state of Queensland. It is home to the Archerfield Airport (in fact, the airport takes up just about the entire suburb), and lies just a short drive in your car hire from Brisbane. Well-linked by several major roads, there is no trouble getting to and from Archerfield in your car hire, and shops are very close by too (located in the nearby suburb of Acacia Ridge).
Archerfield Speedway is also found here, so for the speed demons there is something to keep you entertained! The speedway, also known as Brisbane International Speedway, has been operating since 1978 and first switched on its lights in 1981. Why not organise an event (a mate.s birthday? Fathers. Day?) and book out a box with catering, and invite a few of your friends. Just don.t try to drive like the racers on your way home in the car hire!
