Getting to Annapolis
Located in the northeast of the state of Maryland, Annapolis is easily accessed by both private and public transportation. Baltimore-Washington International Airport is 32kms northwest of the city and handles over 800 flights per day, including domestic, international and transatlantic services. Regular and reliable shuttle bus services, as well as taxis, can take you into the city.
By road from the north, take I-695, then I-97 and finally Route 50 to Annapolis. From Washington DC, take I-495 (Washington Beltway) to Route 50. I-97 also connects Annapolis to the south. There is an extensive network of easily navigated roads throughout the city and the state as a whole.
Baltimore and Washington DC are both well connected to Annapolis by regular bus services; while Greyhound operates services connecting major centres across the eastern seaboard.
