This town successfully hid the Liberty Bell from the British during the Revolutionary War. Today you can find the Liberty Bell shrine located in the Old Zion Church’s basement which is the exact spot that the original Liberty Bell was hidden. The climate in this area is often humid continental. Plenty of precipitation falls every year and there is a large mountain called Blue Mountain that is about 10 miles north of the city.
The crime in the city has grown recently due to gang rival violence. This town is the home to MS-13 which is the nation’s single most violent gang. This town has also seen much growth in the drug a prostitution areas. The professional football player Tony Stewart calls Allentown his home as wells as John Kline who is a member of Congress. You will also find Ben Stiller’s wife living here. The most recent addition to this town is the 8 million dollar project, the Coca-Cola Park, finished in 2008, which is a baseball park. There are two respectable private schools that are also located in Allentown.
