Apart from its glittering array of historic monuments, Albi is also famous for its elite high school, Lycee Lapérouse, which is housed in an old monastery. Take a walk around the school and observe several literature classes and the school’s impressive music section. Those into sports can check out the city’s famous premier rugby league club, which made history in French Rugby XIII.
