Who doesn’t love to travel? There are very few people who hate it. However, is there anything that could make traveling better? We think it would be even better if we could get paid to travel – now that would be a job worth having! Of course, no one out there is going to pay you to go travelling and just have a good time. So this brings us to the next question: What kind of work can you do which will enable you to travel whilst you get paid?
International Flight Attendant
Of course, the most obvious answer to this question is flight attendant. The truth is, flight attendants get paid for traveling all over the world. However, this job is not as glamorous as it used to be. At one point, it was one of the most wanted jobs. Now, there are some people you simply could not pay enough to be a flight attendant. For those of you out there that can stomach it, this is one of the best ways to get paid and see the world. On top of that, your cost for travel is taken care of! Need more money? Maybe you could consider becoming a pilot!
Become a Teacher
Now I know what you are thinking: What does this have to do with travel? Well, it all depends on what kind of teacher you become. For example, government agencies are always looking for teachers to fly out to foreign countries. Sometimes, this kind of work is well paid however, you may need to have a TEFL certification and a pretty impressive college degree to make this dream come true but at least your flight would be covered…
Show Others the Sights
Another great way to get paid to travel is to be a tour guide. You get to travel to other places around the world, and people actually pay you for showing them around! So if the job is so great, why doesn’t everyone do it? Well, you actually need to be certified to make any real money doing this kind of job.
Write Reviews
This isn’t a job that will pay the bills. However, it is a great way to make a little extra money for traveling to locations you are going to visit anyway. There are websites such as ReviewStream.com, that actually pay you per hotel review. Sadly, they won’t pay you enough to cover the bills but it’s a great way to earn a little extra.
Write a Book
Last but not least, try writing about your travels. Yeah, this is not an idea that is going to pay off right away, but it could be interesting to try. Every time you travel to a new location, write about it. When you get enough places together, put them in a book and share “Your Travels” with the world. Being able to visit the world through the words of another is something people enjoy doing. People publish the experiences of their travels all the time, why not give it a shot!?
