It would have to be the Golf GTi. It defined a whole new genre that has stood the test of time, and brought genuine performance motoring to the masses.

In my mind it would have to be the 93-98 Toyota Supra. Some of the highest hitting hp numbers ever made on a street legal straight 6. Usually unbeatable by most. I also think the 2000 Cobra R Mustang should be placed somewhere in the mix.

Well, I know my suggestion might be played out…but I just had to suggest Toyota’s 1986 Trueno GT Sprinter or also known as the Toyota Corolla GTS in the U.S. It sort of did create a whole new perspective and market for cheap low-powered import vehicles…..
