‘We have just returned from Fuertaventura & theft from cars is bad. If you leave your car near a beach be very careful with the keys. Thieves are watching people go to the beach & if you leave your keys in your pockets they obtain the keys when you are swimming & ransack your car.

The police are not interested, as we unfortunately found out to our cost.’
